Effect of Exercise on 24-Month Weight Loss Maintenance in Overweight Women  August 2, 2008

Study Question: Does exercise assist in maintenance of weight loss among overweight women?

Conclusions: The authors concluded that exercise was an important component for sustained weight loss. Women who were physically active for approximately 55 minutes per day for 5 days per week were more likely to maintain weight loss. - Elizabeth A. Jackson, M.D., F.A.C.C.
